The first ever Derby Day Festival was held in 2001. The event is coordinated by the Merchants' Committee. Over the years many attractions have been added to the festival to keep family entertainment first.
Kids can enjoy a number of kiddie rides and blowups. Families line the streets to welcome the parade. Live music, a car show and art show can entertain guests for hours. This year's Derby Day Festival will be held Saturday, May 4th, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., and Sunday, May 5th, 1:00 p.m. -5:30 p.m. Parade will begin at 12:00 p.m., Satruday, May 4th, rain or shine.
