The Cloverport Sacajawea Festival has been supported and sustained by a board of members and its community for more than fifty years. Currently serving is a board comprised of twenty members. Board officers include, Brandy Fulkerson Ball, President, Mendy Axton Ray, Vice President, Alexandria Bryant, Secretary, Annie Blair Fulkerson, Treasurer.

The Cloverport Sacajawea Festival is a non-profit organization and serves its community in many ways. Recently new efforts have been made to organize and host a number of events that bring the community together. In 2017, its first chili champ and cake bake competition was co-hosted with the Cloverport Area Lions Club, as well as a riverfront Christmas kickoff.

All events are sponsored with the community at the heart of every event and every event is solely served by volunteers. It takes many hands to plan, organize and execute each one.
