Description:

From 18th Annual Art in the Garden Website:

Every year on the first Saturday in June, the Augusta Art Guild presents "Art in the Garden". This premier event takes place on the banks of the Ohio River with over 60 local and regional artists exhibiting along Riverside Drive in Augusta, Kentucky.

Located 40 miles east of Cincinnati, Ohio and 70 miles north of Lexington, Kentucky, Augusta is a small and extremely charming community that has been nationally recognized as one of the best rivertowns in the United States (********.***, 20 Jul 2012). With a waterfront that has changed little over the past few centuries, the river is the heart of Augusta. The 18th and 19th century houses lining Riverside Drive occupy prize vantage points from which to enjoy the view. Walking along Riverside Drive (which is on the National Register of Historic Places), you can tour many of these wonderful gardens. ART is truly IN THE GARDEN when you arrive at this unique venue.

The Augusta Ferry brings cars and people across the Ohio River everyday and during "Art in the Garden," traveling on the Jenny Ann presents a picturesque view of Augusta. A wide array of food vendors, a delightful children's venue, and live entertainment make "Art in the Garden" one of the premier outdoor events in the region. Each year, the crowds have continued to grow. In 2015, we had over 4,000 people attend this one-day art show.

Mark your calendars for the 18th Annual "Art in the Garden" which will take place on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018!
