Who grills the best steak? Who grills the best burger? These titles, and others, along with over $11,000 in prize money will be on the line at the 13th Annual Kentucky's Fort Harrod Beef Festival, held June 8-9, 2018, at the Mercer County Fairgrounds in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. The festival weekend is chocked full of activities for all age groups. The festival kicks off on Thursday night with Cattle Crawl - The Progressive Dinner, a progressive dinner featuring beef cuisine from local restaurants. Friday night the festival really gets going as teams fire up those grills, youth compete in the grill-off, kids enjoy a variety of activities, and adults partake in KY Proud Wine and Cheese Tasting with beef appetizers.

For those looking to burn calories so they can enjoy all the delicious fare, the Lions' Club 5K Stampede/Poke Along and Corning Ride Your Butt Off for United Way bicycle ride will be Saturday morning. Saturday also has a wide range of events starting with a delicious, hearty Steak & Egg Breakfast and a Silent Auction benefiting the Dustin Worthington I Love Cows Fund. All of the grill off competition happens on Saturday and brisket sampling from the grill-off teams will begin at 5 PM for a small $5 charge. Come out and visit with local vendors, enjoy some music, take a ride with the Poker Run and bring the kids out for some FREE fun games , FREE fun with inflatables and other activities!
