Georgetown Kite & Culture Festival

We are making initial plans for the 2018 Kite Festival. It will probably be on the 21st and 22nd of April or the 28th and 29th of April, also at the Cardome. A key factor is when Lexington has their Kite Festival, which has not been announced yet. We want to avoid a conflict, and have ours a weekend after theirs so people can use the kites from Lexington and come to Georgetown the next weekend. Weather is critically important, but the ideal of a warm, dry day with a moderate wind is impossible to predict months in advance. Watch this space for updates.
