The Cherry Blossom Art Festival - hosted by the Downtown Merchants Association and sponsored by Franklin-Simpson Renaissance, Franklin Simpson Community Arts Council and the Gallery on the Square - is held every year in Franklin on the Square in early April. Artists gather on the square demonstrating and selling their merchandise. The Downtown Merchants hold specials and have extended hours.
