Voted 2011 & 2012 Peoples Choice Best Community Event, the Capital Expo Festival continues to be one of Kentuckys must attend festival events. Since 1973, the Capital Expo Festival has provided the Frankfort Community and its surrounding counties with three days of FREE entertainment for the entire family. This year the festival enters into its 41st year and is one of the oldest festival events in the area. Located near the heart of Historic Downtown Frankfort, there is always plenty of great shopping, hotel accommodations, and fine dining.
