Description: | From Festival Latino de Lexington Website: Last year, downtown Lexington felt like a Latin American country as more than 30,000 people came out and celebrated Lexington's Latino community at the Festival Latino de Lexington. This two-day festival will feature fun for the entire family. Admission is free.
Friday night is tropical night and will include authentic Latino foods, fireworks and music. Hours on Friday are 5 - 11 p.m.
On Saturday, the event will begin at 4 p.m. with informational booths, cultural presentations, craft vendors, children's activities, and more great authentic Latino food and live music. And due to popular demand, we will continue the tropical night festivities from 4 - 11 p.m. at the Fifth-Third Pavilion in Cheapside Park.
Festival Latino de Lexington is brought to you by Lexington Parks & Recreation, FLACA, Jalapenos Mexican Restaurant, Carman & Fullerton PLLC, Clark Distributing/MillerCoors, Toyota, PNC Bank, El Gran Tako Restaurant, Panchito Ice Cream, Cumulus Radio, LaVoz of Kentucky, Smiley Pete Publishing, Radio Vida and LFUCG Emergency Management.
