| Description: | From Anderson County Burgoo Festival Website: The Anderson County Burgoo Festival has a lot of exciting events for 2014! Make plans to attend the festival in downtown Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, September 26, 27, and 28. Festival activities begin at 7:00 a.m. on September 26 with a pancake breakfast at the Senior Citizens Center and will last throughout the weekend when the festival officially ends at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 28. Lawrenceburg is located in the heart of central Kentucky on Hwy. 127 just miles south Frankfort.
There will be lots of burgoo, music, and entertainment, as well as vendors of all kinds. Vendors will fill all avenues of the festival with crafts, food, and other assorted goods beginning on Friday morning and will be open during all festival hours.
There are many sponsors that make the Burgoo Festival possible. We thank each of them for their generosity in supporting this annual community celebration.
