Annual Kentuckys Western Waterland Labor Day Weekend Arts & Crafts
festival will be held in downtown Grand Rivers. It will be in the park behind the
Badgett Playhouse on J.H. OBryan Drive (the main street). The dates are Saturday,
September 1; Sunday, September 2; and Monday, September 3. Hours on Saturday
will be from 9:00 AM until dusk, Sunday from 9:00 AM 5:00 PM, and Monday 9:00
AM 3:00 PM.
The many activities in Grand Rivers draw record numbers of people to the area. Grand
Rivers is home to Pattis 1880s Settlement and Restaurant, a Branson-style music
show Variety! Music, Memories & More at the Badgett Playhouse, and a street dance
in the park with live music this Saturday night. It is the only town that fronts on both
Kentucky and Barkley Lakes with a beautiful resort and marina on each lake. It is at
the northern entrance to Land Between The Lakes, a 170,000-acre national recreation

The location in Grand Rivers is easy to find. Take I-24 to Exit 31 and turn south on
KY 453 going 3 miles. Turn left at the billboard welcoming you to Grand Rivers
(Commerce Street.) The Badgett Playhouse is only 1 block away. Or take US 62/641
to Lake City then turn south on KY 453 going 2 miles. Or go north on The Woodland
Trace, the primary road in Land Between The Lakes, to Grand Rivers.
