| Description | Avalon Stained Glass School & Creativity Center offers this wonderful workshop to beginners and intermediates who want to learn the magic and trade secrets of creating beautiful fused glass functional art. Taught by Arlene Wright-Correll You will make a set of 4 fused glass coasters or a spoon rest or an eyeglass rest or a bowl or dish. You will learn how to prep and work with a large kiln. You will learn how to slump glass into molds. Our workshop can make the difference between just doing and doing well. This is a 12-16 hour workshop and you can do it in 2 full days or Four 3 hour sessions at your convenience. The firing will be done in the evening while you are gone so your piece once fused is ready to for the slumping firing. Now learn the latest techniques in fused using the best American made glass.
