| Description: | General Information AQS Quilt Show & Contest - Paducah, Kentucky Paducah Expo Center April 21-24, 2010 The next Paducah quilt show will be held April 21 â 24, 2010, at the Paducah Expo Center, Julian Carroll Convention Center, and the new AQS Pavilion that will be located in the parking lot at the convention center. The AQS "Hurt Book Sale" and more vendors will be at the AQS Vendors on Kentucky in the Finkel Building in downtown Paducah. Special Events will be held at the Carson Four Rivers Center (across the street from the Finkel Building). Note: The show will not be using the Executive Inn for this show. The Executive Inn, the hotel attached to the convention center, has been closed since last yearâs show and will not be open during the 2010 AQS Quilt Show. There will be a lot to see and do: * 400 beautiful quilts in the AQS Quilt Contest from across the U.S. and around the world * 400 vendor booths * 100+ classes, lectures, and special events * Special quilt exhibits including: o Winning Quilts from the 2010 AQS Quilt Show & Contest â Lancaster o Quilts by Kaffe Fassett o 2011 Pilgrim/Roy Challenge o Winners from the 2009 AQS/Hobbs Bonded Fibers Fashion Show o 2010 AQS Landscape Quilt Contest o 2010 Pilgrim/Roy Challenge Special Events Tuesday â All-Star Review, Awards Presentation & Sneak Preview Wednesday â Kaffe Fassett Thursday â National Quilt Museumâs Quilt Auction & Eleanor Burns â Live on Stage Friday â AQS/Hobbs Bonded Fibers Fashion Show & An Evening with Ricky Tims Saturday â All-Star Review Tour groups can contact Laura Davis or Marcelle Cashon at 270-898-7903 for more information about the show, or for assistance with admission or ticket sales.
